This is definitely the city of Universities and NGO’s- both of which are ubiquitous and continue to flourish. NGO’s and development organizations of every hue are in Dhaka and are engaged in every level of the development value chain. From product development to final program rollout and implementation they are trying to set the benchmarks here.There is also a spirit of competition amongst the various agencies that has lead to greater efficiency in operations and transparency in reporting formats.
