BIO: Ling Ling is passionate about the creation and growth of businesses for economic development in Africa and Asia. She has worked both in the public and private sector in business analysis, financial services, microfinance, information technology, systems design, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, microenterprise development, value chain development, and biofuels. Ling Ling has worked as a professional in the US, China, Senegal, and Mali and speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and French. In addition, she is co-founder of Project Japale Goune (www.projectjapalegoune.com), a grass roots project based in Dakar, Senegal, that provides school lunches to over 200 under privileged children. She was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in 2003-2004 to Senegal and recently graduated in 2008 with dual masters degrees - an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a MPA/ID from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Ling Ling is very excited to be a part of the Deloitte MBA Without Borders team to work with Gone Rural boMake and to explore a new region in Africa.
