Streetwires is based in the center of Cape Town. Streetwires started in 2000 with two artists and three founders. Streetwires is a business with a social mission that is, generate secure and sustainable employment for disadvantage people. The focus of this unique company is the production of high quality bead and wire products. The product range includes animals, creatures, key rings, gifts, and house ware. The company has 80 staff working at the studio/shop of Cape Town.

Streetwires introduced on 2000 the idea of producing these types of products and has generated a growing industry in South Africa. The combination of the wire art and design resulted in a set of products for promotional purposes and corporate gifts. Streetwires currently exports to 15 countries and supplies several large retailers and established corporate companies domestically and internationally.

Streetwires currently faces the following challenges:

1. Costing & Pricing of product

2. Rationalization of range of products

3. Develop a customer oriented catalogue.

4. Combine the book-keeping / invoicing systems

5. Develop capacity to generate a good, regular Financial reporting.

6. Develop a company Mission Statement and Marketing and Sales Plan.

7. Develop a Business Plan.
