Later that evening we all gathered together at the dinner table and reflected in the night’s events. Although this is something a doctor would face on a regular occurrence, it is not quite what I was expecting while working with finance. But tonight, for the rest of us, this was very different. Just an example of unique events that can take place when working in a developing country, and where resources are limited. This will be one of my lasting memories of working in Haiti.

MMHRC is lucky to have many outstanding staff who work long hours tirelessly and are motivated by the vision of the founder. A year ago, outstanding professional managers have been recruited to run the hospital. This brings new opportunities and challenges.
