International Youth Foundation (IYF) is working in more than 70 countries and territories to improve the conditions and prospects for young people where they live, learn, work, and play. IYF supported MWB and it’s Co-Founder, Tal Dehtiar, by recognizing him as one 2007 Young Social Entrepreneurs via its Youth ActionNet Fellowship.
DeGroote has been a strong supporter of MBAs Without Borders from the start. Co-partnering with initial seed-funding to help send MBAs Without Borders first MBA to Tanzania, DeGroote continues to support MWB as it builds better business in developing countries with marketing support and financial support. The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is Canada’s lead agency for development assistance. CIDA has supported MBAs Without Borders throught it’s YEP internships and has provided funding for MWB’s 2008 Public Engagement Campaign.
Wyeth Canada, in collaboration with the DeGroote School of Business provided seed funding to MBAs Without Borders as it sent it’s first MBA, Arif Shivji to help develop programs for CSDI in Tanzania.
Via Google Grants, Google has helped build MBAs Without Borders website clicks by 400%.To date, Google has donated in-kind advertising of more than $24,500USD.
